All fishing equipment is provided by the Mayport Princess, including rod, reel, bait, tackle and fishing license. Conventional Penn reels are spooled with 80-lb. test line, with 100-lb. test terminal tackle. Anglers may bring their own equipment to fish. Remember to pack a cooler with your food and beverages. Individuals and families should try and limit your cooler size to 50 quart. Extra large coolers for groups and private charters are permissible. Absolutely no hard liquor or glass bottles are allowed aboard the vessel. Florida weather means a lot of sun, so remember to bring sunscreen, sunglasses, and hats to avoid sunburn. We encourage guests to bring a backpack with a disposable hand-towel, and extra change of clothes for your comfort in case we experience a passing rain shower. The cabin is always available to escape passing inclement weather. If you are prone to motion sickness, you will want to take your medication prior to boarding the boat, in order for it to be effective. We do not provide any medications on board the vessel.
